General Questions
Why do you want to join the LSPD?
I want to join the LSPD to uphold the law, ensure the safety of citizens, and bring professional, high-quality roleplay to the streets of Los Santos. I have always had a strong passion for law enforcement roleplay and want to build my career from the ground up within a disciplined team.
Why should we choose you?
Although I am at Level 1 on this server, I have a clear understanding of roleplay principles, strict discipline, and high motivation to learn. I am a team player, calm under pressure, active daily, and committed to representing the department with professionalism and integrity.
What experience have you already gained on the server?
Since joining, I have focused on familiarizing myself with the city's map, traffic regulations, server economy, and reading the server's rules and legal codex thoroughly to be fully prepared before joining a faction.
Have you previously been a member of any other factions? If yes, which ones?
No, I have not joined any faction yet. I wanted my first faction experience on this server to be with the LSPD.
Why did you leave your previous factions?
N/A (I have not been part of any prior faction).
Do you already have experience in a government faction?
On this server, I have not held a government position yet, but I have theoretical knowledge of legal codes, standard radio communication, and traffic stop procedures.
What are your strengths?
Patience, disciplined communication, ability to follow commands without hesitation, remaining calm in stressful situations, and a strong eagerness to learn and improve.
What are your weaknesses?
Since I am new to this specific server, I am still memorizing some specific street names and internal procedural nuances, but I am actively studying the documentation to resolve this quickly.
Activity
Approximately how many hours are you active per week?
Around 20 to 25 hours per week.
At what times are you usually online?
Mostly during the afternoon and evening hours (approx. 16:00 to 23:00 server time).
Are you willing to assist during major operations or whenever support is required?
Yes
Knowledge of the Rules
Have you read the current LSPD rules completely?
Yes
Are you familiar with the current penalty catalogue?
Yes
Are you willing to follow instructions from higher-ranking Officers and the officer in charge?
Yes
What would you do if you disagreed with a decision made by a higher-ranking Officer?
I would follow the order immediately in the field to maintain order and public safety. Afterward, once the situation is de-escalated and out of the public eye, I would respectfully speak with the supervisor in private or report it through the official chain of command.
Scenario Questions
You are conducting a traffic stop and notice that the person was already stopped by another Officer 20 minutes ago. There is no new suspicion. What do you do?
I would politely inform the driver of the reason for the check, verify that their documents are valid, apologize for any inconvenience caused by the frequent checks, and let them proceed safely without unnecessary delay.
A person has two Wanteds. Are you required to give them a ticket, or can you also arrest them? Briefly explain your answer.
According to standard protocol, for minor offenses (like 1–2 Wanteds), offering a ticket/fine is the primary step if the suspect is cooperative. However, if the suspect refuses to pay, refuses to cooperate, or has committed an arrestable offense per the penal code, an arrest can be carried out.
A person with four Wanteds is fleeing in a vehicle. What options do you have?
Initiate a pursuit, immediately call for backup via radio providing vehicle description, heading, and 10-20 (location). Maintain a safe distance, use sirens and lights, consider PIT maneuvers or spike strips only when authorized by the pursuit lead in an area safe for civilians, and avoid lethal force unless an immediate threat to life arises.
A person exits their vehicle after a pursuit and runs away unarmed. How do you proceed?
Pursue on foot while updating dispatch/backup on our location and direction. Issue clear verbal commands to stop. Use non-lethal equipment (such as a taser or physical tackle) to restrain them. Lethal force is strictly prohibited since the suspect is unarmed and poses no immediate deadly threat.
During a check, you encounter a person who has previously been caught multiple times with illegal items. Are you allowed to search them?
Prior record alone is not sufficient legal justification for a frisk/search. I would need reasonable suspicion, active probable cause from the current encounter (e.g., seeing contraband, smelling substances, suspicious behavior), or their explicit consent before conducting a search.
An Officer urgently requests backup while you are currently conducting a normal traffic stop. What do you do?
Officer safety and emergency calls take priority. I would either expedite the traffic stop with a quick verbal warning or quickly return the driver's documents, instruct them to remain in place or drive carefully, inform dispatch that I am responding, and immediately head to assist the officer in distress.
You notice another Officer violating an LSPD rule. How do you handle the situation?
I would not confront or argue with the officer in public or in front of suspects. I would document the incident (take notes/evidence) and address it privately with the officer or escalate it directly to Internal Affairs / High Command through the proper chain of command.
Additional Information
Is there anything else we should know about you?
I take roleplay seriously, value respect and communication, and I am ready to complete any probationary training or academy exams required by LSPD leadership.
